In love with textile designs by the Wiener Werkstätte

28/02/2014

I’m a big admirer of the Wiener Werkstätte, specially their textile patterns.

We have a wonderful museum in Vienna – MAK –  which is home to the worlds largest collection of Wiener Werkstätte objects, with products including furniture, works of architecture, porcelain, glass, apparel and around 20 000 fabric designs.

It’s definitely worth a visit, I recommend going on Tuesdays. Free Admission!

I have a very inspiring book by Angela Völker, called „DIE STOFFE DER WIENER WERKSTÄTTE 1910 till 1931“.

Some of my favourite patterns!
